WELLNESS MASSAGE
Leave the world at the door and sink into an inviting massage table, covered with fresh linens and a cozy blanket. I tailor every aspect of our work together - pressure, pace, draping, bolstering, optional table heat, etc. - to your comfort at all times. And whether you enjoy talking or prefer silence during your massage, I'm always happy to follow suit.
Wellness massage for relaxation and/or maintenance typically consists of flowing techniques, as well as unrushed deep tissue work, myofascial release, and assisted stretching as needed. A general, full-body massage is great for calming the nervous system and mind, reducing muscle tension and soreness, and improving circulation and overall well-being. While not usually effective for treating injuries, regular wellness massage sessions can help prevent injury by maintaining a calmer nervous system, reducing stress hormone levels, and cultivating a more resilient musculoskeletal system. Well-delivered relaxation massage is also an excellent way to reconnect with your body.
